Sort of yes, sort of no. Having RL knowledge of how to fight is helpful. That being said, for the appropriate classes they simply have the raw stats to make up the difference, sort of. That and DG also teaches people how to fight, inadvertently. Perhaps not quite as in a spectacular fashion, but the mentality is there for it. But does your real life knowledge make you stronger in deep ground? No, not particularly. At best you get the "Teaching Super Man Boxing Lessons" trope in which you bolster your already supernaturally powerful strength with practical techniques. And don't think you're the only one to do this: As you can imagine, many people who are Warriors in Deep Ground gravitate towards fighting in real life. Let that sink in for a bit. Now you might say "But you can't actually DO those things in real life" and that's a fair statement. But that doesn't matter in Deep Ground. In Deep Ground you can take the concepts and imagination from your fantasy fighting, normally impossible by realistic limitations, and actually put them into practical application in Deep Ground. "You can't do that in real life" shouldn't stop or weaken others, so much as it is "You can now do that in Deep Ground".
