Probably because this is a writing forum so let's say you Enter an RP and someone you ignored also enters... How are you going to collab with that person if they aren't able to communicate with you?

For a site like this, Blacklist features aren't really the best of features to use. White listing would be more beneficial.
[b]For example:[/b] When someone post in an RP, they can only post in the OOC until they have been accepted into a white list for the IC and Char sections.

It's the difference between rewarding people from doing the right job, and punishing people for not doing the right job. One will breed positivity where as the other will breed negativity within the community.
