She finished one last bite of the spicy yet delectable curry, her compliments to the chef, before she noticed Yakuza-Queen ambling behind her and Mira, not exactly making eye contact with the girl, but definitely acknowledging her presence nearby. She had to have been completely pissed off with Tohru to not even say one word to her, especially after the little fiasco during gym, which in part was Tohru's fault for opening her mouth...as always, and Tohru still holding a grudge towards anyone affiliated with bastard Yakuza thugs, the same bastards responsible for turning the streets Tohru once tread upon into a nightmare wrought with gang wars, drug addicts, prostitutes, and pedophiles, just lining the alleyway with rotting corpses and discarded heroin needles. And the police, psh! What police? Half the damn cops were on the payroll of even the most notorious of Yakuza bosses. That's how the game went anyways where Tohru lived..... Maybe she was being to harsh in her judgment though. The tall chick didn't look like one to slice off someone's fingers for not paying protection or sling drugs in the back alleys and the street corners, a little too high-maintenance for that kinda dirty work. But in all sense, the Yakuza girl did mention to Tohru during their heated encounter that she had never broken the law once in her life, and if she did, Tohru honestly.....well she would be a hypocrite for calling the girl out on such. She too has had her share of run-ins with the law, some just narrow escapes, except for that one last ditch effort when a cop buried his elbow into her face and down she went hard busting her chin against concrete. Even so, she's still..... But what was this? Tohru heard sort of a ruffle in the grass behind her pulling her off her train of thought, as though something were....dropped out of her line of sight. What was it, she was soon to discover, but Mira's voice caught her off guard. "Huh? Oh ehehe...! I loved it! Thanks!" She replied with a grin of sincerity as she quickly turned around. "I'll have to do the same for you next time. I at least owe you something." She wasn't one to take advantage of such offers. It just wasn't right. If she had to, Tohru could find a way to make money outside of school. Either playing her guitar in a park somewhere for small change or maybe volunteering at a restaurant, given if her criminal record wouldn't be brought up. Maybe the school had some kind of work-lunch program where she could wash dishes in the kitchen or whatever for free food? But when Tohru sat up to stretch and let out a deep yawn....she saw it. "What the-?" ¥100,000 right before her very eyes, wrapped in a hair tie which no less belonged to the passerby, the Yakuza Queen. Tohru held the small bundle of bills in her hand, glancing at it, then to the girl walking away from her. "I'll be right back, Mira-chan." She stood to her feet, dusting off her bottom before running to the tall girl, calling out to her. "Hey you! Yakuza Queen!" It didn't take long for the girl to make her way across the campus grounds, and soon she was face to face with the young woman, grabbing her hand and placing the yen back in it. "You dropped this." It wasn't like Tohru didn't get it. The girl was being charitable, but Tohru wasn't going to accept anything she didn't earn. Likewise, she gave Shinobu a look that silently said Thank you, and I'm sorry about earlier before she turned away from the Yakuza girl and slowly made her way back to the garden and to Mira-chan.
