[@Loony] That really does sound painful, I wish I could say something comforting but it's difficult because I can't really relate at all.  I mean, I do sort of know what it's like to have to grow up way too early, but not like that and not for those reasons.  If it's any consolation you've certainly inspired me to educate myself about Kurdish people, so there's that.  I really hope it isn't exotifying to say but I find your heritage really cool.
