That's just melons lack of using emotes in his post. Which really, when someone then does not understand he's using humor, is his own fault. This being the internet you pretty much needs emotes to well, reveal the meaning in your post. Imagine if texting didn't have those.

I've also seen ppl argue seriously with [i]'m8'[/i], and considering his geography, one would understand if he does not pick up on the post not being serious. Heck I've lived in Canada and never even heard of this type of humor involving numbers replacing letters. And Canadians love kissing British ass.
