Hm is Wikipedia any good?  I know it has it's problems but it's normally my favorite thing for when I need general knowledge about something.  I think I can at least say that I sort of know what New Roz/Nowruz is now, and that it's typically celebrated on March 21 or 'better stock up on allergy medicine now or go through weeks of hell' day for me.
