Well as of current Frieza's soldiers are in the 1,500-18,000 range for the "lower tier" and that's a pretty fair gap. So I'd say our characters could be somewhere in the center. Haven't thought too much on power levels myself, but it's a valid point to make and once we get rolling it should be a quasi-discussion I think.
