I'll be honest I kind of imagined the basic Angar Ryllan (sort of like the Roman Legionary) basically like the Tau from Warhammer, with auxiliaries mixed in of all types and races. Maybe a mix of the Tau and the Covenant from Halo with all their funky race types.
Pretty much what I'm thinking to, I'll see how Skalla views them. Heck, battle mech's could also be their thing. Not that it would be seen much considering the most of the war will be small scale. So far: Angar Ryllan - They'd favor heavy armor over movement speed and weaponry power. Effective tactics like Radar jamming on or a personal mobile shields. As a result of the better armor, AR units often last longer in combat, but are not as capable of dealing damage as effectively as Freehold forces. The AR forces are generally more functional than aesthetic, making them the near polar opposite of The Fallen. The Fallen- Would be fast and stealthy, with designs that often include triangular shapes. With designs hinting at the centrality of their aesthetic spiritual sense, with symmetry, smoothness, organicism, and grace exhibited in every unit and structure, all adorned copiously with twinkling lights and reflective of their familiarity with advanced Eldritch technology. As a result of this, they possess a sleek, alien, organic and seemingly innocent form in neutral mode - but when in attack mode, they open up, revealing their weapons and giving the enemy cause for alarm. The Freeholds- Freehold tactics rely on efficient, specialized attack vehicles with very powerful, yet narrow capabilities. Probably has most variation and least uniformity considering all the allied worlds/realms.
