Well, losing four carriers during midway wasn't really a mistake at the time. It was only in hind sight do we see things as they are. At the time, they thought they had the upper hand against an American carrier group. The only way to "correct" that battle is to simply not partake in it. 

Also, I never intended to copy paste but quite a few things would be kept intact. The next thing I was going to post is a Japanese soldier during the invasion and capture of wake island.
