[@Loony]  Hum now I'm interested to hear more about Quebec.  But yeah I assumed as much, most places that have a really strong reputation for being polite really aren't that super polite, just generally less confrontational, I think.   And I guess when you said that Ontario thought it was the center of the universe New York and Texas were the first American places that came to mind, although if we're being honest my own home state has it's own far, far less justified and sadly misguided penchant for considering itself the center of the universe.  I think it stems from how the rest of the country suddenly pays all its attention to us every time it's time to get a new president.
