[@Loony] Yeah, adult ones only live for two weeks apparently, so it might not have been.  I'm not going to be over dramatic and say I got depressed just from seeing a dead bug, but I hate to think that I might have had a hand in killing a cute animal... and embarrassing as it is for me to admit, I do get a little sad when bugs prematurely die.
