The fabric is torn so things can slip into the back with the foam insert and be lost forever. There is also a strange smell that radiates from it. He refuses to let his mother get him a new one.

- Her second husband's death has had a very clear affect on her. She is prone to bouts of anger, losing her temper rather quickly. Some would say that her line of work isn't the best for her right now because she can be forgetful and unreliable. This is getting better, though. The rising amount of patients has helped Adele keep a clear head, allowing her to focus her attention more appropriately rather than slipping into a depressed state during the down-time.

- Her parents were two French immigrants who traveled to the United States for work. She had a happy childhood and looked up to her mother, Sylvia. The woman had a strong impact on her life and allowed Adele to build up her confidence as a woman.
