[@Akayaofthemoon] Pretty much all the beaches in Canada are cold unless you're in like, south BC or PEI or New Brunswick or something. I'm also not very found of them. Kurdistan is unsurprisingly not a beach filled area, and it's only occurred to me now that I've never really been on a warm beach before except for during a brief time where I lived in Germany. Went beach combing mostly, they had such lovely shells there.
