Spinel Oh lovely As if everything else that had happened wasn't enough to deal with, it looked as if Emerald had passed out again. Spinel tucked Aquamarine's gem away and darted over to him, wary of any more danger that may be present. She grabbed one of his legs with both arms and slowly but surely dragged him onto the pad. Well, at least he doesn't seem like the sort who would mind a little dirt... she quipped to herself. "Is everyone ready?" Spinel asked sheepishly as everyone now seemed to be on the warp pad. She paused, did her best to make her mind totally blank, and closed her eyes. She diverted all of her attention and focus to the temple. The warp pad began to glow and within moments, they were there. Spinel very nearly collapsed as soon as they arrived home. She ran off of the warp pad and into the living area. Her eyes had already begun to sting as soon as she saw what had happened, but she'd ignored it until now. Spinel fell to her knees and flickered. She was doing her best not to be seen but she was so distraught that it was difficult to use her most basic ability, as much as she'd practiced it in the past month. It was as if she was trying to sob and hold her breath at the same time. She became completely still and it finally began to work. Howlite's shards and Aquamarine's gem now appeared to be floating in air. For the first time ever, small streams of tears ran down Spinel's face. It was all she could do to stay invisible, and while being emotional didn't help at all, crying provided her a bit of release that made not glowing a little easier. She reached into her pocket and clutched Aquamarine and Howlite. "I-I'm suh- I'm so... I'm so sorry!" she sobbed as she became visible once more. Chromite "Yeah... um, I mean, message received. I don't intend to be on your back the whole time, but I'd like to be within earshot of you if need be. Rest assured you'll get your private time if you want it, but the fact that you're meeting up with a group of rebel gems only makes me more concerned that you'll need protection." Chromite said. She still couldn't completely get her head around how positively blunt Evenkite could be, but she wasn't offended. [@Loony]
