Lieutenant Ray Richards stood at the door of the locking port, his arms behind his back as he rested. To his left side was a Zenohunt armed with just a sidearm, and to his right was a robot that looked like a six legged table with a computer on top of it, which would play translator for him, record a 360 degree vision of video and audio, monitor the current situation and request assistance if needed, and keep the captain and analysis team informed as to what was going on. It had loads of additional features, all inside of it. In addition, the legs could change form to something better for moving, or for other situations. Ray's red eyes did not rest on the door. They instead rested looking above the doorway. Above the door, there was a small robot, about the size of an ant, with four legs, named the SIR (Special Infiltration Robot). It was tiny, yet it was powerful in it's own way. As the doorway slid open, he tapped his foot once. Back in the special operations room for his troops, he knew that one of three four man special operation teams was bunched together, tapping away on terminals as they monitored the readings from the SIR. They couldn't see the doorway because the drone was over it, but when they saw the tap of the foot, the quickly scurried through and into the alien ship that was docked, running along the roof, almost unseeable. The drone would try to locate the bridge of the ship and hide inside of it, gathering intelligence. The worse part about it was that the drone could scurry into the tiniest places, making them almost impossible to get rid of if they weren't destroyed beforehand. The captain had told him to get one on board of the ship, for monitoring purposes as well as sabotage if things go south. Ray's eyes slid down to meet the haired creature in front of him, whom spoke before a monotone voice spoke in Ray's own language. The analysis guys deserve a medal, he thinks to himself, before speaking. "Greetings, Captain. My name is Lieutenant Ray Richards. I am your escort for your time aboard the UZF Lightbringer." Ray says, his tail swishing behind him as the robot beeped, and then spoke with the best translation it could make. "I request that you follow me. The captain wishes to see you." He waited as the robot translated this. Behind him, an entire three by five meter section of the wall slid outward and sideways, before some technicians descended on it. Finally, as the robot stopped speaking, Ray turned around, and began to walk to where the meeting room was on the carrier. The robot and the other Zenohunt followed. On the bridge, the communications officer found another transmission, one from another alien race. He submitted it to the rest of the bridge crew, before sending it to analysis to decipher. A report was sent to the captain, whom was sitting in the meeting room, waiting for the arrival of the alien. A peace broadcast was sent back to the new race.
