Reggie
Reggie simply sighed at Eve rude behavior towards the armored gem, wishing that she'd be a little less blunt and forward with her honesty. But it seemed that Joan didn't mind, so he decided not to make too much of a fuss about it, though he did give the small gem a light rap on her head. "Don't worry, you'll get your alone time. I'll just take to studying all the things around the kindergaten until you're ready to go." Reggie then made a gesture with his fingers as he walked towards the warp area of the ship. Activating the monitor with a swing of his hands, he quickly typed in the activation code for the thing, stepping on board and waiting for the other two to get on. While he could turn the machine on, it seemed that it would only work when gems were on board, which was more than a little annoying at times. Once the two were in board, the warp pad would activate in a flash of light, sending them to the coordinates of the last warp pad to be activated before Kirk had left. They’d arrive in a flash of light, Reggie stepping off with a slight sway in his step(he doubted he’d ever get used to warping), but as soon as he took a look at his surroundings, he could feel the grimness in the air. Something had happened here, something bad. Studying closely, he could see the signs of some sort of struggle, with cracked boulders everywhere. The Gems had been here, but they here gone, back to their temple he guessed. "Well, looks like we missed a tussle for sure. I'm thinking they went back to the temple, so if Joan could takes us to the Mohs ton warp,w e could probably walk over there or you to give your apology." Reggie could only activate he warp if he had a monitor, which his armor did not come with, unfortunately, so it was up to Joan to transport them back to the ship or to the other warp. [@Loony] [@21308]
Mars
Mars had been ignoring the sounds he'd heard at first, focusing more on exploring things, until he started really listening to it. He felt a odd feeling of familiarity and strangeness, similar to hat he had felt when he picked up the daggers. However, by the time he turned around, all he good see was the outline of a figure disappearing in a flash of light. When the light stopped shining, the figure was gone, and while Mars was curious about the object, something about that voice made him back away. The voice had brought up feelings in him he didn't quite understand, feelings of despair, hopelessness, hatred, and self-loathing caused by that hatred. And not only were these emotions dark, but they were intense and powerful, wracking Mar's head with enough pain to bring him to his knees. He'd stay like that for awhile, twitching violently as images played in his head, moving by too fast for him to get a clear idea of what he was being shown. After a few minutes, however, the emotion began to gradually die down, the images fading into the oblivion of his mind. Soon, Mars was able regain control of himself, standing up rather shakily and holding on to a nearby rock to support himself. He felt exhausted, the torrent of unfamiliar emotions hitting him like a sledgehammer and leaving him just as dazed and confused. "What . . what just happened? I . . . I . . .you know what, forget it. I don't care who was just talking, let's just get to this town and away from here. This place . . . . only death lingers in this cradle of life, for one cannot come into being without the other. Mars froze for a second, but moved on, not acknowledging whatever it was he just said, or why his voice sounded somewhat different as he said it. It had been . . . older, tired, and much too world-weary for someone who had only just been given life. What is wrong with me? Is this normal, is this what’s supposed to be happening to me?
