Maybe the rules of pro bending have changed? Perhaps now it's one giant fiend and you can have defenders and attackers and stuff. Or who knows maybe it evolved to a point where it's like football. A giant stadium goals on the two sides and etc.. like how that airbender game in one of the first episodes or the way earthbending children played in one of the latter in the original avatar the last airbender?
