First off, hhheeeyyy. It's more of a concept proposal, and I'm sorry for the poor format but, hey, hear me out. To start by being honest, I haven't gotten the character to really work in any thread I've seen, so making things "smaller" seemed like the next step >_<; Face value: the thread is a 'stranded' style of setting. Its sci-fi meets fantasy with the character I play as being a soldier of the "Eledric Pact"
Highly futuristic with space travel and the like, as well as a form of technology called 'Hex Tech' which artificially manipulates laylines to produce magic-like effects by bending physics and reality. The 'Aylvs' are the race that has been made from this setting to replace humans, being like traditional elves (save for the pointy ears, and, if anything, having maybe bunny ears and tail (if you can dig it)) and age slowly, living up to 300 years, only really showing signs of aging after 150 after slowing around 16-18ish). They're a race made by humans in their dimension who used them for food/slave labor/soldiers/cosmetic accents before they developed to the point of rising against humans whom they now subjugate and stomp out whispers of Aylvn resistance by humans. In a skirmish with a rebel flagship, a slipspace-scrambler nuke detonated, hurtling my character's ship through dimensions and disabling their ship. I guess, in that, its up to you to toss me ideas for a dimension/setting, although I still have quite a few examples, if the inspirational well is running dry.
Ah, right, the plot. it can go a number of different ways. It could go through the dimensional route with hextech subspace nukes dragging my character's ship into another dimension and crashing on a planet that may or may not be civilized, but ideallyc has a form of civilization (like tribal or modern). In that setting, it'd be like a 'first contact' kind of thing with tribes of viking-esque warriors curiously fearing the advanced technology with warring tribes stealing chunks of the ship and trying to control the tech. (The whole opposing warfare concepts and stuff) ...or some kind of weird alien-manhunt in modern settings with the whole "Vision console activate....I SAID 'CONSOLE, ACTIVATE!'...*groan* where is the interface for the AI? *looks around for the tv remote*" thing with adapting to 'primitive tech'. I guess another idea would be for the other player to be a human rebel getting caught in the same mess, being forced not to slit eachother's throats as we look for a way out of it. Yeah, endgame would be ET trying to phone home, but how/if that goes about isn't even a consideration until the plot can be nailed down and interest holds. I have quite a bit planned, but may need a bit of collab help for the sake of direction and personal interest. _________ - I intend on playing as "ET" and will play a Male character. (Since there had been confusion leading to the death of one instance of this thread, already.) - As you can tell, I'm not the best at making thread's, and this would probably be a cooperatively constructed story as it goes, although once I have a whiff of a plot, I'm pretty good at working it. -I'd greatly prefer at least 2-4 paragraph posts, but I can understand if you'd only need one, sometimes. (The tag says Casual, so a level of quality comparable to what you'd find in that section is expected) -Its intended to have mature themes, so mature audiences. (Murder/gore, radical thought processes, maybe a little cannibalism, bits of abuse and the like) -I'm in the central timezone, if that helps with anything... -The whole "uke x seme" thing feels a little restrictive, but idk what to really do about it. My character will be small, but by no means are they 'submissive', being a trained and accomplished killer. Its explained in the bio I'll submit once there's an understanding on setting and stuff over pm-shipped interest. (There are, like, 3 different versions of the same character depending on the setting)
Member Online A cold war on the brink of escalation, kingdoms vie for power. Taking it from the High Towers of Olos is the fastest, though not nearly the easiest. With military backing of as many men capable of wielding swords as there are trees in The Blind Vally (Many being militia, mercenaries and drafted swordsmen) a war would be suicide and detrimental to the infrastructure. Olos has the advantage of height and isolation, located on a carved down mountain with only a single massive road leading up winding enbankments, the eyes of Olos watch all comings and goings. Built with the intention of withstanding a siege, subterfuge is the best option...which is where your mission comes into play, agent. Olos is an old-fashioned nation that is paranoid of progress. They live comfortably off of the gold trade from their coast which also fronts the fishing export of the country. The jobs are good, the sea is plentiful and the salt and gold from the rivers and bay make cement Olos as the financial capiol...so, to win this stalemate, we must have High Towers... ___________________________ A jolt of waves forces the commander to take hold of a handle on the ship's masts closest to the captain's deck. The overhang shields the four agents from the storm that they operated under, shrouded with night's embrace. Lightning cracks far off, rolling across the sky to outline the cliffs of High Towers. A gothic construction of magic into mighty sea pinnacles laced with conventional archways. "You four are our finest trained, keen and loyal to we Errosians. I cannot say the same for the doubtful countrymen, which is why I've waited until now to detail your mission" He called, the deck stewart rushing to kill the lanterns as they made their final approach through the stormy sea's mist. "The Olosi heir to the throne, Prince Jericho Sinclair is your target. Remember, there is no randsome to claim if he dies...it will only make things worse for everyone. No, we need him" He detailed, at this time, steward Jaike handed out packs to the agents. "In your cases, you'll find grappling hooks...yes, you will be scaling the cliff...also contained is a contact flotation raft designed to expand when exposed to water. It needs to be broken from its vial before working, so keep in mind. Lastly, cuffs..." the commander sighs before continuing, "We are dealing with the enemy and it is unlikely they will come willingly. Jericho is a renown duelist and spitfire. His reputation is why I am sending twice the standard agent squad...ALIVE, hear me? No matter what..all other guardsmen are expendable. Now, prepare for launch. We only have one shot at this...Ad Victoriam, gentlemen..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In short, you are tasked on a kidnapping mission against the capital with 3 other members(npcs). The full mission is to retrieve the prince, return to the ship and subsequently return to the capital of Erros. (Problems ensue)
Input/questions? :x Feel free to pm me, I love debating/explaining things firsthand.
