[@Loony] Well when they first came to Earth there were no Home-World and Crystal side. There were just Bloodstone's soldiers and the gems that came with Rose. Blood probably even recruited Garnet. So unless Rose brought Talc along, she was recruited by Blood or offered to Blood as servants by Yellow Diamond.
