Gen Itoshi
Monday, May 4[sup]th[/sup], 2015 Warakuma High (Class 1-1) > On the way to Hospital Chiaki Nettu had been missing over Golden Week. That was how the homeroom teacher told Class 1-1. Gen would have been lying if he had said he was not upset that the school idol was absent. It was only natural. It made it worse that they were in the same class. What if it had been him? Would the class be that worried? Probably not. But still, it would stir some people. The teacher took him out of his reverie by asking everyone who would volunteer to bring Chiaki her homework. Obviously, almost everyone on the male section of the class volunteered. Gen was lucky enough to be chosen, triggering a long and loud groan of defeat made by the rest. The final bell chimed, and Gen made his way to the hospital. Of course, everyone begged him to take them with them, bribed him, tried everything so they could be an inch closer to Chiaki. But a final glare from the teacher and it was decided. Gen was to go alone. He bought a bottle of water on an impulse. He did not know what else to bring. If given time, he could cooked something, but what did one give to someone in a hospital? He walked with irregular steps, feeling how his throat dried up. He could not take it and opened the bottle. After drinking like half of it, Gen tried to pep-talk himself into visiting her classmate. 'Why are you nervous? She's a classmate... who is also famous. But a classmate after all! You did not volunteer to be a creepy fan trying to get closer to her! Just give her the homework and ask her how she is feeling and then leave!' With this resolved, Gen strode through the hospital's parking lot, blinded by his willpower, carrying both classnotes and opened water bottle on his hands. That was when it happened. He felt someone's body clashing with his own. Everything flew out of his hands and Gen got a nice view of the sky. His back hit the pavement. Something cool splashed his school shirt. "Ah! I'm sorry! I wasn't looking!"
