As Michael approached the academy, he began to hear music that slowly got louder as he got closer. How strange. He wondered if somebody was just playing music outside on a stereo or even their phone. But as the academy came into view, he saw nobody outside and that's when he realised that it was actually being played over the PA system. He didn't know if somebody had gotten into it somehow or the teachers just felt like screwing around with them that particular day. Either way, Michael advanced through the gates and into his classroom. He was among the last to get into class, but he was still ahead of the teacher. That's all that mattered. One more late would mean an after school detention. And how he hated those. He'd only had two before, and both were for being late to class. It's not like he set out every morning with the intention to be late. It was just the way he took to get to school and how fast he walked. Michael spent most mornings convincing himself he was not to blame when he turned up late. Once Michael had drifted back into reality, he realised the music was still playing. It wasn't annoying, but it meant he wasn't learning anything either. He wafted a hand and began gazing out the window at the trees, wishing he was among them instead of cooped up inside a classroom, doing very little. He soon drifted back off into his fantasy world, consisting of replaying moments he'd had within DGO, but mostly victories or other exciting things he'd been a part of.
