An empty eyeless gaze was returned to Evee as she motioned for Beast to remain outside. It gave no real response of understanding or confirmation. Instead it continued to watcher her, seemingly expectant as she ushered it to stay. It did indeed remain motionless as she disappeared into the dimly lit confines of her home. Obliviously, the mechanical monstrosity stared through the empty doorway for several minutes before turning away from the house. The rest of the wooden awning clattered to the ground as the hulking creature moved. Rain water streaked down Beast's angular countenance as it stared up at the clouded sky, peering at the streaks that briefly split through the clouds. A soft mechanical whine escaped its fanged maw as one of the lights streaked above, silently landing not to far away on the out skirts of town and out of view. The creature hadn't moved though its back faced the young girl as she reemerged from the doorway. As her voiced called out to it, Beast turned to face her, looking over its shoulder. Beast hesitated for several moments when she gestured for it to enter. It seemed to be confused, made unsure by the girls own indecisive commands. Stay back, come sit, stay outside, come inside. Eventually the massive creature broke from its motionless stance and lurched forward, its massive claws shuffling through the tattered wooden panels on the floor before poking its head through the doorway. It was a tight fit trying to get through the relatively narrow frame. The sides of the wall cracked subtly as Beast pressed its broad shoulders into the house. Picture frames and paintings clattered off wall as Beast's rigid form pushed passed. A lamp toppled to its side and several booked fumbled to the ground as the large creature knocked a shelf case over. A light patter of rainwater dripped off the monsters metal body in its wake, leaving a damp trail. After several awkward movements and the near destruction of her furniture, Beast followed Evee to the sizable living room where she had thrown together the makeshift bedding. After a few quiet moments, the creature turned back to Evee, obliviously looking at her with a tilted gaze.
