''Then I wish you luck.. I'll train hard and get it to the last gym.. I hope to see you trough my journey a few times'' Ruby said and smiled. ''You really are a great person'' she said and bowed. She looked at thee poocheyena and squatted down. ''You look good after your friend, he needs you just like you need him'' Ruby said and then let it smell her hand and softly scratched behind the ear. Eevee squealed some and when Ruby also had petted him, the small pokemon walked to it's new friend and nuzzled it's cheek and then the little fox-like pokémon ran to it's own trainer and jumped in the bag.

Ruby looked one last time at the champion of this league and smiled at him. She would never forget this meeting with him and when he had took of, she continued her walk to the forest and towards a new adventure.

A week later, Ruby walked into the third town and right when she wanted to walk into the poké-centre, she bumbed in with her brother and his fans. Gary looked down at his sister. ''Wow, Ruby.. you survived it to here'' he said. ''Yes, and I did it on my own'' she said. ''With your pathetic little eevee's? or did you manage to capture some real pokemon?'' Gary asked. ''Your first pokemon also was a eevee! And I own a Shiny Umbreon'' Ruby said. ''Yes and the most pathetic eevee ever seen'' Gary said. ''You are pathetic! You are nothing without those wannabe fans of yours'' Ruby said and then she moved and walked inside the poké-centre and dropped of her pokemon. ''A little check up please'' she said and smiled some. Gary had moved on and was nowhere to be found anymore.
