Rose watched the entry to the room carefully through her scope. That was not the typical response of a member of the brotherhood of Steel. However, if this was a paladin from the brotherhood, he would have not tried to offer an excuse. He would have just lobbed in a plasma grenade and followed up with his laser rifle. Rose noted his reaction. She called out to him, "Well traveler, first three floors of this building are cleared. Fourth Floor is still trouble. You have some good armor. I think we could work out an arrangement."
