At least the change of attitude eased the tense beginning between the two. The man revealed that his name was Matt and he was one of the Commanding Officer stationed at Point Kilo. She would applaud for someone so young to be a CO, but this was not a time for celebrations or compliments. Things were sure to blow up sooner or later and Maria was anxious to see it all unfold before her. "... Never been here though, the guy that used to run this place had told me of its location." Previous guy? "I honestly have no idea where the hell anything is here, so directions would be nice I guess, if you don't mind." Well... Perhaps before granting this Matt entry, Maria should check his ID first... But... "Was his name Rueben? Anyway... Med-Bay is this way then. She thought over the fact if he was a vampire... Even so, was it really a problem? There were other SOLDIERs that are vampires too serving to track and kill other vampires in exchange of their terrible fates. Loyalty was questionable... But for somebody who lived as a human working in SOLDIER after all this time? All that thinking brought silence between Matt and Maria. She widened her senses and leaped back into the real world as the commotion began to fill her head. Maria stopped. "We just walked past the Med-Bay." She shook her head again and turned back. As soon as Maria arrived, a nurse came to attend to her. "Pardon me, Templar Maria... Something the matter?" Even the nurses could tell that she was feeling weary. She feels as though her own privacy was leaking out everywhere and she didn't like it. "This man needs to rest. Could you prepare him a bed and maybe some stimulants? He's needed for questioning later." Maria kept it nice and direct for the nurse so that she wouldn't sniff around her business. "Right away, Templar." Being a Templar always had its perks...
