Blood was certain no one would even acknowledge what he had said. Zircon's nod gave him some hope but before he was about to turn around Aqua came up to him and thanked him. He was happy at first but then he realized she called him Blood. It was kind of hypocritical based off what she had said earlier.

Now I can go and never come back or I can stay and teach these gems what you can't, how to properly use and strengthen their powers, so that they can be stronger. Besides if they do fight against me some day, I'd rather have a challenge than a massacre.
