Blood was certain no one would even acknowledge what he had said. Zircon's nod gave him some hope but before he was about to turn around Aqua came up to him and thanked him. He was happy at first but then he realized she called him Blood. It was kind of hypocritical based off what she had said earlier. "It's Aquamarine to you." Something like that, it irritated him. "That's Bloodstone to you now." Blood stared at her for a second, looking at her reaction before losing his cool and laughing. "I'm kidding, but don't forget I killed that corrupted gem as well. I didn't have to do any of that. I did because I'm not a bad person but I am someone who will do anything for the people that by my side, even if it meant taking out my previous allies. I would never turn on them." He turned around and walked towards the warp pad. "But that's the past, these newborns are the future. I want a future that benefits them and our kind. If what benefits them is you then I have no choice but to keep you alive, at least until they learn the truth about everything. Now I can go and never come back or I can stay and teach these gems what you can't, how to properly use and strengthen their powers, so that they can be stronger. Besides if they do fight against me some day, I'd rather have a challenge than a massacre. The choice is yours." Blood held out his hand to her, offering the handshake that he unintentionally turned down.
