Meesei, unlike many of the others, was unaffected by Harriet's presence. Most of them were aware of the purpose of the collar around her neck, but her combat prowess was enough to make them nervous. But, collar or no, Meesei knew she was capable of subduing her if the need arose. "We will leave soon enough. Galsek must be allowed to get far enough from the cave, as we will be following from distance. If he sees or otherwise detects us following him, it is unlikely he will return to his allies." She explained. There were quite a few minutes of Meesei simply holding up her hand, concentrating on what she could feel through the ring. The weather was reasonably clear, so Galsek would be able to move without issue, but he was likely being cautious. Eventually, he did finally move far enough away that Meesei gave the order for everyone to move. The alphas spread out among their packs, while Meesei took the lead, ensuring that Harriet was walking directly beside her. As they exited the cave, Meesei took them in the direction her ring pointed her. There were tracks in the snow along their path, but Meesei doubted they would last forever. If he intended to get rid of anyone following him, he would find a way to cover or avoid making tracks for at least a short while to throw off pursuers.
