Long ago in a kingdom long forgotten, A huge war broke out between the five Nations. To combat this threat, the wise King of Brokwyrd gave instructions for five magic imbued swords to be crafted, one for each Nation in hopes that the nations would keep from battling each other in favor of these gifts. These Knights were dubbed the "Knights of Five" And for a while, his plan worked, and the Nations were at peace. but soon the Nation of Kravenfriht Suddenly turned it's back on the treaty, and attacked the others, with several ambushes that were strategically placed enough to cause Kravenfriht's King to rule with an Iron Fist. The people cried out under the King's rule for the other four knights, whereas all but one had been slain, and this knight was no match for a full nation of men who serve their King with the utmost respect. Eventually he too was captured and locked away, then hanged in full view of the Nation of Kravenfriht's court, as a testament to the King's ultimate power. Oddly enough, none of the knights who were slain seemed to have a sword on them... strange.... Here’s the Setup: There are Five swords. One is in the King's possession and the other four are going to be found during the RP. At the beginning of the story, NOBODY has a sword. they will find them DURING the RP. Sword abilities Must be approved by the GM/Co-GMs, but for the most part are fully customizable. The end goal here is to get rid of/subdue/kill the King of Kravenfriht. The Nations are as follows: Kravenfriht- The Central Nation of Trade. without the King's say, nothing gets through, which means without servitude, your nation will suffer. Fravkoan- the Western Nation of gold mining. Many thieves reside here due to the amount of gold found coming and going. Harocrint- The Eastern Nation of Farmland. Miles and Miles of grain and vegetables. and admittedly not the best populace for swordsmanship Brokwyrd- The Southern Nation of Smithing. the best weapons are always found here, most of them magic imbued, but none so powerful as the Blade of the Knight of Five whom resided there. Drevmort- the Northern Nation of livestock. People need meat. 'nuff said And what are the abilities of the swords, you may ask? well that is where I am giving you a choice, Don'ts this is a fantasy/medieval world, so the swords can't be used to do things like: cause black holes rip the space time continuum cause massive nuclear or biochemical explosions. DO'S They can however: Become three times the wielder's size without slowing the wielder down Emit elemental blasts on command (this is not one ability. each element is it's own ability, so if you can shoot fire, you can't shoot lightning as well unless you want to use up another Sword Power) Slice through anything but another one of the Five Blades Change form to another weapon for short periods of time Camouflage the wielder These are just suggestions and things you can't do with the swords. I expect you to come up with your own unique powers for the legendary blades. Be creative! _________________________________________________________________________________ And now for the character sheet: Name: Gender: Age: (All of them should at lest be in their late teens to early 40s excluding the King, whom none of you need to worry about, as I am playing him.) Nation of birth:(for clarity's sake) Appearance: (A picture isn't necessary, but it is fine if you hate writing these up) Personality: Valuable possessions:(AT THE START: I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH) Short History of Character: Sword Power 1:}you only get three of these, Sword Power 2:}and no two swords can have one that the other already has. Sword Power 3:}The exception being if an ability is copycat Sword appearance: (No katanas. this isn't Japan(and definitely isn't in the BLEACHverse))
Name: King Levarticus III of the Kravenfriht Empire. Gender: Male Age: Unknown, as he has survived longer than thought humanly possible. Nation of birth: Kravenfriht Appearance: A man obsessed with black armor, he wears a dark and foreboding piece of it on every inch of himself when in public, and his eyes are blood red at the iris. In a more modern world, he would be regarded as looking like a metal version of the Dark Knight (ironically). see image below: Personality: Cold and Calculating, it would do you well to not have him shout at you, but it's worse when he's so mad he whispers. He will order his servants to do anything to accomplish his goals, even kill their comrades, and disobedience is not tolerated among his Personal Guard, even if the order is to kill a friend. Valuable possessions: His Sword of the Knight of Five of Kravenfriht Short History: As a child, he was looked down on and told he would never amount to anything. Naturally this lead to him wanting to prove everyone wrong. He enlisted in the army at an early age and once he got close to the King of Kravenfriht, he slaughtered him, then took command of the kingdom. He didn't stop there, making sure to allow no one to surpass him, he researched the Knight of Five of Kravenfriht's weakness and exploited it in order to kill him and obtain the Sword he possessed, then demanded absolute servitude after conquering the five Nations with well placed sneak attacks. his terms are simple. Serve him, or the trade routes to your Nation are cut off. permanently. Sword Power 1: Longevity of life. no one knows for how long, or if this is permanent Sword Power 2: Enhanced Durability. no ordinary unarmed combatant has ever beat him. Sword Power 3: Unknown to anyone but his (current) head of the army (he goes through several a year) Sword appearance:
