[@Loony] I've been in an awkward situation like that too.  I was tempted to tell the parents about the awful stuff that company gets up to but couldn't think of a polite way to put it.  Educating people is definitely good though, hopefully if people keep spreading the word more and more people will get it.  Really I'm surprised that Autism Speaks' promotional material alone doesn't put people off.
