 It's good to do a large variety at first though but sticking with one thing won't ruin your style forever, but it's good to try a lot of variety first so that you don't cling to a certain sub-category like a security blanket and have a hart time transitioning, like I did when I went from years to chibi to suddenly cartoon. It'll make you more comfortable with certain things but definitely not dictate. And I'm honored that you like my art enough to want to start from there! No need to feel like a rip-off! And even then I'd be super flattered by anyone trying to be a rip-off for my art. XD You can definitely do that if you want, but it's good to have some variety, and probably base your art on a more...experienced and skillful artist who knows what they're doing, rather than my art? ^ ^"

ALSO SUPER IMPORTANT TIPS:

-References are your friends. Use them.

-Draw as often as you can, even if you don't finish the drawing or if they're crappy doodles. Just. Do. It. It helps sooooo much. Every day at least try to get one doodle done.

-Tracing is [i]great [/i]as a learning tool, but don't trace artwork and pass it off as your own, that's different. XD

- Draw in as many different styles as you can

-Don't be like younger me and withhold from drawing something because it's daunting, because five years in the future you're going to be like 'I want to draw hands in my new style. How the bloody hell do I draw hands?' and you'll end up with these super perfected everything but the things you've avoided and it'll show like hell it's horrible don't do it save yourself @___________@
