Layle was running through an empty ship, left to run and flail through the sky to buy its former crew time to bail before it crashed into something. Navigating the halls during its remaining time in the air would have been difficult. Upon arrival, after the ship had already been caught by Salvory and been shut down by the cloaked swordarm...
Cloaked Woman
"Glad I managed to figure that out in time. I guess I'd better go talk to... that whale?" The cloaked woman on the bridge of the ship was just about to leave, when the door was suddenly blown in off the hinges. The woman reacts quickly and catches the door, letting herself be pushed back to soften the blow before she set the door aside. "Who the hell do you think you are? Get off what is now my ship." Not that it was hers, but she was sure as hell confiscating it. The woman storms out of the bridge and grabs the young man by the ear as she does, dragging him along. Assuming he decides to just follow her instead, she emerges onto the exterior deck, just in time to hear Salvory proclaim the ship... a prize? "You know you can't just claim ships like that, right? I think they consider that piracy. Besides, won't the authorities want to hang on to this? For... menacing the populous or something?" If she could get the ship impounded, she could just get it back later. Getting it back from another guild might be a bigger problem. Taking it now, on her own, would be impossible... maybe if the ship were in working order, but she wouldn't even know how to fix it. "Besides, it's pretty busted. You didn't notice?" Hopefully, that would dissuade them, though... an airship was a big prize.
Trinty Stratos
"Yes, I'm alright. Damian came to rescue me. I figured someone would." Trinity smiled at the flame mage, glancing at Karn before she rose. "You don't mind if I stick to you, do you, Penny?" She looked over at who Penny had been speaking to just a moment, waving shortly. "I didn't mean to take you away from a conversation." It had been a while since she had people she could rely on... in all honestly, she had had her doubts, before. Karn spoke, finally. She had thought he looked... tired, but this confirmed it. "Hey Karn. You... don't look well. Are you alright?" She looked at him closely. Maybe she should stay here with him... Or talk to Penny about it?
