Yes and no. Currently, I have it set up so that leveling up stats is determined by your character's mastery. So for instance, if you have more mastery in dual-wielding skill over anything else, you get a set of stat levels for that mastery. I also plan on implementing a choice system due to the fact of unhanded combat. I'll explain in greater detail below.

Every character starts at level one (obviously).
As far as the exp needed for each level up, I've made it stupid easy in the beginning. You will start with needing 100 exp for level two, and each level after that needs 1.333x the exp, rounded down.

Ex.: 100 x 1.111 = 133.3. Next, drop the .3. Then 133 x 1.333 = 177.289. 177 x 1.333 = 235.941. Now, instead of needing 236 for the next level, you would need 235 instead. And the equation keeps going on forever.

If you are more proficient with one class than the other, you will gain the stats bound to that set list rather than the other.
Now it gets confusing. Say you have two weapon types you are proficient in, or even three, or all of them. When you level up the first time with multiple professions, You would gain the stats from the first set of your choice. Then it would alternate. So for two sets, you would go one, two, one, two, and so on. Whereas more would go one, two, three, four, and how many ever they are proficient in.
Finally, I'm still trying to decide when it happens, but every (5th at this moment) so levels, you can choose where to place the stat points you would gain that level, rather than it being dictated by your mastery.

I'm still hammering out leveling up stats, but besides that it's pretty much figured out. Oh, and before I forget, unhanded combat is a major exception to the level (considering you're going into a fight with next to nothing to protect yourself, and can hardly deal any damage). While all the weapon classes have masteries, unhanded combat doesn't, as it was never intended to be possible by the system. So in order to make up for its major draw-backs, unhanded combat will allow you to determine all your stat gains on every level. However, if you choose to go into battle unhanded, you won't be able to equip a shield or weapon for the rest of your character's play time. So be warned. I hope this answers your question well, [@dndragons].

Dagger
Sword
Duel-Wield
Scimitar
Rapier
Club
Great-Axe
Spear
Katana
2-Handed
Technically, unhanded isn't a class and doesn't have any skills. But, it is still a choice.
