Erick gauged the situation, his decisions, and how fast this building was coming down. He could throw her, but he could also overshoot the building and toss her clear off the side. The crashing was getting closer and the building began to shake. "Fuck it.." Erick said, scooping her up in his arms he lept across, with an even louder crash the building collapsed sending dust and debris flying. He hit the top of the roof and skidded a few feet and sat her down on her feet. He stood and looked her over for any injuries from the shrapnel behind his visor. None that he could see, good. "That was fucking close." Erick told her, turning and watching the building collapse as well as the mech on fire beside it. Turning back to her, he spoke. "Names Erick, pay more attention next time. You're lucky I was here." --- Blood fought through the small force with guns with ease, taking minor damage to his armor. A few bullets made their way into the holes that had been made from sniper rifles, but it didn't really matter. Blood slaughtered the lot of them, his blade siphoning blood all the while, making him stronger and accelerating his healing. Mid fight he smelled something...off in the air aside from the smell of death along with a low hissing.. He paused, the bullets continued plinking off his armor. "As much as I want to fucking kill you, hold your damn fire something is wrong!" Blood roared. He inhaled deeply, the scent stung his nostrils a little and left him feeling whoozy. He turned and looked out the window, every single Purge member outside stopped and dropped their arms, praying. One smart-ass continued to fire, Blood grabbed the gun, yanked it from the man and pointed out the window. "Are you dumb, or just plain fucking stupid?" Blood said as he pointed. He inhaled deeply once more, and then it hit him like a freight train through a brick wall. It was the fucking fuel, they were releasing the fuel. "Ahh FUCK!" Blood shouted. "HOLD YOUR DAMN FIRE OR YOU'RE GOING TO BLOW US ALL UP! THEY'RE LEAKING THE GAS" He shouted into comms. They had to find the source, and fast, or they all stood the risk of an explosion.
