Lord Atra

Atra is the villain of the tale.

Appearance
"A monster in skin clad black"
Atra is a monster made solely of the blackest ink,his eyes are blank white, and the rest of his jagged body is pure, shadowy black,

"At our souls it will hack"
Atra's left hand is not a limb, it is a two sided axe which could slice straight through anything except the will of the pens.
