[b]Spinel[/b]

Spinel smiled just a little at Bloodstone's acknowledgement of her.  She may not have been able to feel much, but she felt something like pride in that moment.  She felt a little more uncertain as he went on.  "It's... unlikely that I'll ever take a job if that job involves trying to hurt Aquamarine.  However, I would still be honored to train with you."  Using the word 'honored' felt a little strange to Spinel.  It wasn't that she was lying, exactly, but she had to real idea what honor was.  It just seemed like the right thing to say.

Chromite gave the Mayor a respectful nod.  Clearly, she thought, this man was a cut above the other humans she'd met.  [color=darkgray]"If he has any intention of joining us, I imagine he'll learn a thing or two about respect fairly quick.  Commander Bloodstone and I have our ways like that.[/color] she said in response to Reggie.  She approached Amber and gave him the most sympathetic look she could.  [color=darkgray]"Would I be right in assuming this is the first time you've lost someone, then?  Please don't listen to my companion here, you're handling it as well as you could be expected to, and there's nothing wrong with caring a great deal about your comrades.  You may not be able to see it now, but this will make you stronger."[/color]
