Proof Of Commitment: Shawn strolled into the tavern. He was a red haired boy, with an average height for his age and plenty of freckles. He drew many patron's eyes, he being both the youngest in the room and wearing peasant clothing. Many in the room dissagreed with his presence, one of his lot did not deserve to be in the company of wealthy, hard working men such as them. Despite the menacing glares of some and the heckling of those who downed a little much drink, the boy walked through the room nonchalantly. It was as though he thought was the only one there. Once he made it to the back of the room, he turned and headed up the stairs to the bedrooms leaving a room of appalled gentlemen. After he decided that those in the tavern couldn't hear him, he let out a quick sigh and slumped with his back to the wall. Was he really going to do this? Yes he was, the boy quickly told himself. He had to, it was his duty to his nation, his village and his family. They needed him. After Shawn made it to the top of the stairs, he took a left and walked until he made it to the sixth door on the right. This was it. The boy pushed open the door to reveal an elderly women in tarnished gray rags sitting in front of an empty table. Shawn gulped and stepped inside, “Are you the oracle?” his confidant demeanor suddenly vanishing. “No, she’s two doors down, leave me alone,” she the old women snapped. "I am so sor..." “Yes I am the oracle,” she softly chuckled, her persona unexpectedly becoming warm and loving, almost like a grandmother. Shawn turned back around, a second from running out of the room. The boy took a seat and the table. “What can you tell me about the dragon of Asdoor?,” he inquired. The women struggled to mask her surprise, “What does a boy your age need to know about the dragon of Asdoor!” “The man who sent me to you said that I was the only one who could defeat the monster,” Shawn replied, a little embarrassed by the oracles reaction..
