Hyde respawned right where he left off. Except, the three Outlaws he'd previously been fighting were nowhere to be seen. Hyde counted his blessings, smiled and carried on with his journey. He was heading for the Black Guild's city because of the message sent out by the Black King prior to the game crashing. He'd heard rumours about it at school, but dismissed them as just that. Hyde was very sceptical of what he heard in and about DGO. For all he knew, he was walking into a trap. It was extremely out of character for the Black King to just invite people to join his or her guild out of the blue. He swung his Morningstar and twirled it in his hand as he went along. He'd become somewhat proficient with it, though that would be expected after just over two years of using one inside DGO. Hyde enjoyed the abilities he'd gained along the way, causing him to be mildly overpowered among players around his own level. Hyde had garnered a slight reputation with new players for his abilities, but he didn't use them unless he deemed it absolutely necessary. Hyde knew it would be his luck that he'd use up all his abilities only to need him minutes later for an enemy that was about five levels higher than himself. After around ten minutes of mind-numbing walking, Hyde began to wonder about joining a guild. It had it's pros and it's cons. A pro was that he'd get bonuses with whatever guild he joined whereas a con was he became a target for other guilds. He'd chosen to remain a solo player for the past few years, just to play it safe. Almost like a soldier of fortune, but he didn't consider himself one. He considered himself a nice, normal person that just wanted to do well in DGO and, eventually, in life. But, sometimes, that meant doing things he didn't necessarily want to, even if it did mean joining a guild.
