Even if those questions have been answered [@Nightrunner], it doesn't hurt to answer them again. Nor for that matter, with 47 pages of OoC and mixed logs of IRC, we'd not easily be able to find the answers. What it means is pretty simple. An elite republic soldier or two with training that goes well beyond merely combat training. I.e. not force-sensitive. It would be optimal if said soldier is perhaps related to one of the prisoners, to explain why he (or she) has chosen to serve some of the Jedi rather than the Republic. There can be other reasons too. In the eyes of the republic, and especially as the Sith will be told once they become aware of the mission of the Memory of Coruscant, theirs is a rogue operation, one neither approved of by the Republic or the Jedi Order, as it threatens the peace treaty between the republic and the Empire. Does that answer your questions to satisfaction?
