You do realize the Paladins don't have a face, right? It's not a dude in power armour, it's a large robot with a brain interred somewhere into it's chassis. It's effectively a bunch of electro-motors and a human brain, surrounded by 20 cm of armour. The tank comparison wasn't just a passing remark, they are quite literally walking tanks, except with better maneuverability and reflexes. Their brain is in their chest, behind the deepest layer of armour. They have a helmet, but it doesn't actually contain anything. it's just there to be pretty.

Regardless, I think it's fairly silly that you'd be able to shoot one in the non-existent head and kill it, considering these things have tank armour. With a high-powered rifle you might be able to hurt them, even disable limbs if you manage to hit a chink in the armour. But there's no logical way you could insta-kill them with anything less than a tank cannon.

And need I even comment about stabbing one with a knife? Or the fact that you somehow have access to every single tv station in the world?
