The serpent lunged at the vessel, grabbing one of the sailors in his jaws, tearing the dracon in two. Kosjurec drew his sword and leapt at the beast, bringing the blade down on the monster's side. Wounded, the serpent sank back into the water, then rammed the boat again. The ship withstood the damage, but it would not take many more blows.
