[@NarcissisticPotato] Well if this was my original version of The Sun and Moon then I'd say yes :'D but people have used them so much that such hatred wouldn't make sense.

So instead it would be more likely that your character neglected her duties and was banished for it. Why she neglected her duties? Up to you. Maybe it was because she fell in love with someone and wanted to spend the rest of her life with them- maybe it was because she was tired of being a god- maybe she was just laZy- or maybe she wanted to rebel.
