Yeah, as I've mentioned I'm still learning swordplay myself and it's hard to understand on the purely theoretical level I have to experience it. I suspect that considering he launched his strike left to right he'd be leading with his left hand on the grip, but he was leading with his right hand in the first slash. I figure for an experienced swordsman the change-over wouldn't be that difficult.

I should point out I'm only -this- unforgiving when playing a very specific character arch-type usually, which is this exact sort. You can't really afford to give your opponent an inch when your character is just a hulking giant with a sword and no reliable ranged capability what-so-ever.
