[@Akayaofthemoon] [@21308] Mother or otherwise, someone, someone should've stepped up before I had to myself. Embarrassing as this is I wasn't even aware that this kid -that it even was a kid- was up in a tree screaming for help until I hear someone next to me mumble 'did you see his mom?' because this was shortly after I nearly passed out and my brain wasn't exactly functioning as well as it should've, and only then did I start to pick up his words. I was so scared I would've not have been able to catch him either because I was already disorientated as it was but no help would've been worse than slightly-less-than-adequate help. I feel so stupid because I was so brain dead that I didn't even try to help and find his mother afterward and just kept an eye out for him, dear god am I stupid. And the thing was, there were around 30-50 other people in that park and NO ONE was doing ANYTHING. Like, what the actual hell people!?

And I'm really sorry to hear about your cat, Akaya. I'll let you know that they're in my prayers and that I hope the news you get back is good news.
