The smoke Eve produces has an additional scent of witch hazel (whom depending on who you ask is either okay-good, crazy good, or to most, absolutely horrid, but combined with that of burning coal it'd still smell terrible nonetheless) because it's said that the hydrocarbon that forms evenkite, tetracosane, apparently smells like its oil. Thought it'd be an interesting touch, and a way to identify Eve's smoke vs any other smoke.
