Kuhaku Shiro - From the ashes
Mass of wood and metal writhing as Shiro slowly came to and began to stir, Shiro breached the cocoon which he had inadvertently made for himself. Dramatically gasping for air as he dragged himself from the carnage. Obviously, his missteps had garnered him some unwanted attention and his cheeks flushed red with embarrassment. Pulling his hood over his ears, he tried his best to be quiet as he sharply sucked in air between his teeth. Wincing at his already healing, but still stinging, bruises. "Ooh. Ow. Ouch. I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm just gonna put these back now..." He softly whispered to himself. Ignoring the class as a whole as he tried to be inconspicuous and invisible as he worked to correct his mistake. He remained blissfully unaware of the brewing situation. Of the drama and conflict between some of the students. Though his hearing may have been sharp, his attention span still left much to be desired. Ask any of those who knew Shiro to any degree, and that much would've been clear. Still, Shiro was content pretending he wasn't there. That nothing happened. That he was simply rearranging an oddly messy bunch of school desks and chairs, neatly returning them to their rightful spots. Pausing briefly, Shiro scooped up a laid out Scoot and set him safely on what Shiro designated to be his seat for the day. Alone and away from the rest of the class for the moment. At least until the bell rang and the class filled. Not long after crawling out from his 'accident', Shiro cleared his throat and settled into his seat. Hood still pulled over his head to hide his shame. His weapons slung onto his back, and not a single school supply to be found around him. Laying his upper half over the desk, Shiro silently wallowed in his temporary misery. The start of the week was not going well for him, other than his fight in Combat Class with Luke. He sighed as he pathetically slumped in his chair. "I hate Mondays.." He hadn't noticed Robert's offer for help. Completely lost in his own little world.
