Seth sighed as he was helped out of the hole. It was when Rin mentioned not to Insult her ability to strategize that made Seth laugh and shack his head, “Really Rin. I wasn’t insulting your strategic ability. I was merely telling you I’d seen through your little plan. To be blunt you’re probably the only one of us who has the best strategic ability. I’d bet your own sensei trust your strategies.” Seth then realized how he called her out on her plan to make him and Izu fight. He just sighed “Come to think of it, I probably should have phrased it better when I found you out. Sorry, there are still things I can’t get rid of. Like how I say the first thing that comes out of my mouth,” Seth said. He had the urge to pull out a cigarette and light it but he remembered he promised Akio he would quite. He sighed again and walked over to a small stump and sat on it before he said, “Oh this is going to be hard.” He waited to see how Hayashi and Izu would start their fight. I got a long way to go, but I’ll be fine. I hope Seth thought. The conversation Akio and he had plated back in his mind, but the one part about it stood out: Akio had told him he had died in the pain invasion. That fact alone made Seth want to get stronger, but it was the fact Seth let it happen angered him. “Why didn’t I just tell him to shut up and let me help him,” Seth mumbled to himself. He looked at the rest of the team at the training ground. Everyone else would have stayed so why didn’t I? Seth thought. He never wanted to feel like this again. The fact him and his comrades might enter a battle soon made him sigh, “Never again. Even if I’m facing death, I’m not leaving another comrade to die.”
