Hayate continued to watch from a good distance away from the rest of the group, by this point he was probably the farthest from everyone whether or not he was safe was still in complete question. As he watched, a female slowly began to approach the group, He really couldn't tell what much more she was doing. He watched her intently until she began to do something. Obviously from where he was he couldn't tell what but regardless of what it was Hayate had a bad feeling about it.

It was at that point where a voice rang inside of Hayate's head. [color=9e0b0f]'I'll be taking over for a bit.'[/color] the voice rang, before Hayate could react in any way control of the body had already disappeared and all Hayate could do was see what the body was seeing through the eyes.

Negi held the staff in his hand and began to whisper some words that Hayate could not make out as a language he knew.[color=9e0b0f]「Ras tel Ma Scir Magister, Flans Paries Aerialis」[/color]In that moment what seemed to be a wind like wall surrounded Negi, it took the full force of whatever the female had done obviously Negi was not harmed but right away Negi went and began chanting again.[color=9e0b0f]「Deflexio」[/color]This time, instead of casting a protection spell that could stop a ten ton truck, he casted a protection spell that was meant for basic protection, seeing as the third explosion was not as strong as the first two.[color=9e0b0f]「Phew that was a close one, ahaha made it just in time, thankfully.」[/color]Negi let out a small laugh as he pressed the bottom of his staff into the nonexistant ground.
