Izu wasn't surprised by Seth's persistence in continuing on the with the fight despite the fact that looked like he was completely drained of chakra, but it was futile. As he anticipated Seth's water hydra was dodged by Rin and then the jutsu failed and Izu saw that Seth had gone into unconsciousness while still standing on his feet. Rin was going in to hit with an advanced gentle fist technique and Izu was about shout for her to stop, but the Hyuga seemed to catch on to Seth's current state and halted the assault. Once Seth came back to being conscious he made another immature remark to hide his defeat.

"Once again Seth, you went all out without thinking about the consequences of such large usages of chakra. Try to conserve more next time" Izu to him as he came over. He was itching to spare with someone and had wanted to spare with Rin since he was interested in seeing how his Savage Slime technique would work against Gentle Fist, but since the Hyuga had fought with Seth, it looked like he would have to wait for that match to happen. Instead Rin suggested that he fight Hayashi and Izu wasn't against that idea, an Uchiha would make a great sparing match and he could see how his techniques would work against a Sharingan user.

"I'll be glad to spare with an Uchiha, don't let your ego cause you to lose" Izu said in a warning tone to Hayashi. He prepered himself for the fight and blood red slime began to ooze out of his hands and form into tendrils slithering around him like serpents.

"Are you ready Uchiha?" he asked. Izu was going to let Hayashi make the first move and get some idea of how the leaf ninja would fight. His biggest concern was his opponents Sharingan, the bloodline technique would prove difficult in over-coming. It may not have had the same power of ocular vision, but it's ability to see and anticipate enemy movements would make close quarter combat difficult. Izu kept calm and thought of how to utilize his Savage Slime techniques in the most effective way to achieve victory.
