Master Fraquar Alinstar
[@Caits] [@Zarkun] Fraquar sighed and followed after Jamie, determined to keep up. He saw no reason not to help and he was sure Jamie was simply in a bad mood, which was only making things worse really. Either way, he followed behind the Phoenix Wing Guild Master, making sure that he was far enough away from Jamie to not bother the other Master, but close enough to not lose track of him.
Amelia Averyonna
[@Caits] [@rose vanisis] Amelia simply sniffed and tried to calm herself as Jarvis spoke. Rose handled the situation better and was more comforting. Letting out a sigh, she wiped her eyes and slowly sat up, still upset but feeling a bit better. "He's not a Rider. He's a River Spirit, who humans turned into what we know as a Rider. War is simply the name we gave him. His real name is Phlegethon and there are four others like him, scattered across the land. The problem will come in the form of the price..." Amelia said before suddenly stopping. The next thing Rose and Jarvis would know, she had collapsed and fallen off the bed, her expression one of extreme pain and her body shaking from it as her hands were over her heart. To her, it felt like it was on fire, literally on fire. The pain was almost as bad as the operation that had given her her wings and she could barely breathe past it. Luckily for her, the pain would only last one minute before it slowly faded away, though for her it felt like an eternity and she felt even more tired then she had before.
Joshua Tamashii
[@rose vanisis] Joshua listened to her story, staying silent and taking in all she said. In some ways, it was better then what he thought had happened to her and in others it was worse. When she was done, he was quiet for a minute or two before speaking. "At the very least, even if it is in ruins, you have a home to return you." He said before holding up his hand with the murderer's brand on the back of it."You once asked me about this mark. Since you told me your story, I will tell you mine. As you know, I came here from the Far East. But that is not where I was born. Instead, I was born in the Far North, a land of ice and snow as far as the eye can see and an unblocked sky no matter where you go. It was a land where strength ruled and the weak died quickly, with a few exceptions. My village was a stable and a strong one. We hand land and we protected it fiercely. When it didn't produce, we took what we needed from other villages. From the moment I was able to lift a wooden sword, I was taught to use one. I had a talent for it and when I was young, I learned I had a talent for something rare in those lands: Magic. I was lucky enough to find a teacher and journeyed with them for a while, learning how to use my magic, my Requip, before returning to the village." Sighing, Joshua looked at the sky now, his expression hard to read "When I returned, I was full of pride. I thought I was the best and no one could stop me. A friend of mine in the village disagreed. And we ended up fighting." He said." We ended up fighting for four hours, possibly longer, and going through several wooden sword. The entire time we flung insults at each other and tried to get in the others head. He succeeded and hit me where it hurt most: my pride. In anger I used magic and requiped a real blade before... before I slashed his chest open. The match ended immediately and the guards dragged me away while I was still in shock and threw me in prison. I was there for days before learning he had died shortly after I had injured him. I was branded a murderer and exiled from the village, stripped of my name, my inheritance, and my right to ever return to that place. I can't even rightfully call it home anymore, as I am no longer considered a part of the village. After that, I found my way towards the east and trained there, learning to control my anger and how to fight with a blade and avoid killing. And as you know, after that, I headed here. And the rest is history."
