Yeeeeeep. Well, more or less. There are some differences (like the lack of more overt fantastical elements like magic and the fact that Monmusume takes place in the present/near future), but if you're familiar with Monster Girl Quest, then you should fit right in with the setting barring an occasional wiki walk.

Since it seems like there are more people interested in this who aren't familiar with the series than I thought, I'll add a brief summary of the important stuff in the OOC I'm working on. Best advice though? Seriously, watch the anime. It doesn't take too long and even if you only watch a few episodes you should get the gist of things (although I would highly recommend watching episode 7, as it's the most relevant to the RP).
